Auditorium

Coliseum Theatre offers a wide range of seating locations that suit everyone’s needs, to ensure you have the best possible event experience.

*The front row can vary from show to show, please check the seating configuration during the ticket purchase process.

Stalls

Flat floor seating includes rows AAA to D; the elevated seating begins at row E through to row X. This section is accessible through Doors 1 and 2 or 5 and 6.

Mezzanine

The Mezzanine is our middle section accessible through Doors 5 or 6. There is a safety rail installed in front of the front row which might interfere with the view for some patrons.

Balcony

The Balcony is our top floor section and is accessible through Doors 7 or 8. A safety rail installed in front of the front row might interfere with the view for some patrons.

GETTING HERE

Location

Located within the exciting destination of West HQ, Coliseum Theatre is conveniently positioned at the apex of the M7 and M4 in the heart of Greater Western Sydney.

By Car

The Coliseum Theatre is an easy drive from Sydney CBD and all major cities of Greater Western Sydney. Over 2000 free car parking spaces are available on-site at West HQ. P1 multi-storey (best accessed via 33 Railway Street, Rooty Hill) is the best car park for easy access to West HQ’s popular Eat Street, Novotel Sydney West HQ and the Coliseum Theatre.

Accessible parking is available in P1 with 14 designated parking spaces on the ground floor with stair free access to the main entry foyer. P5 (best accessed from North Parade) has five assigned parking spaces on the ground floor and Level 2. Lift access will take you to the Southern Entry Foyer, where you can proceed to the lift outside of Member’s Services and up to the theatre walk bridge entrance.

By Public Transport

Accessing the Coliseum Theatre by public transportation is easy, as it is located within a short 10-minute walk from Rooty Hill and Mount Druitt train stations and has four bus stops located on North Parade and Sherbrooke Street.  On North Parade, the closest bus stops are located outside and opposite the Sydney Gymnastics and Aquatic Centre. On Sherbrooke Street, the closest bus stop is located approximately 20 metres from the West HQ foyer.

Our venue provides accessible seating, lifts, hearing loops and inclusive support to ensure all guests enjoy their experience at one of Sydney’s most inclusive venues.

Drop Off Zones

Two drop off zones run with stair free access to the Coliseum Theatre. West HQ’s Main Foyer entrance is accessible via North Parade or Railway Street. Proceed to the drop-off area adjacent to the foyer entrance. The Main Foyer entrance is the best drop-off zone for eating before the Eat Street show. An additional undercover drop off zone operates directly opposite the theatre at the West HQ entrance at 55 Sherbrooke Street.

Accessible Parking

West HQ has two multi-storey car parks with accessible parking. Recommended parking is located in the P1 carpark, best accessed from Railway Street, Rooty Hill. There are 14 designated parking spaces located on the ground floor with stair-free access to our main entry foyer, West HQ Box Office, Eat Street dining and bars. The P5 carpark is best accessed from North Parade and has six designated parking spaces on the ground floor and Level 2. Lift access will take you to the Southern Entry Foyer to proceed to the lift outside Member’s Services and up to the theatre walk bridge entrance.

Closest Accessible Train Station

If travelling by train, Rooty Hill train station is the closest train station with accessible facilities such as lifts, boarding ramps, wheelchair-accessible restrooms, and accessible carpark space. Mount Druitt train station has 24/7 staff, with accessible facilities such as lifts, boarding ramps, wheelchair-accessible restrooms, accessible carpark space.

Accessible Restrooms

Accessible restrooms are located in the foyer on each level of the theatre.

Accessible Seating

Wheelchair seating is located in Row X of the Stalls. You can book these seats in person at our West HQ Box Office (accessible via 33 Railway St, Rooty Hill) or call (02) 9677 4916 between 10am – 5pm, seven days.

Hearing Augmented System

Coliseum Theatre has a hearing augmented system. Please request a headset or receiver unit from our Front of House team. The auditorium is fitted with an infrared system which is designed to enhance the intelligibility of sounds. These units will not work outside of the auditorium. A receiver pack can be requested from our Front of House team. All units are to be returned to our Front of House team at the end of the show.

STAY

GROUP / CORPORATE TICKETS

Coliseum Theatre welcomes corporate and group ticket bookings to all our performances, and we can even hold your reservation for a limited time until payment can be organised. Payment must be finalised by an agreed time before the performance.

In addition to assisting with arranging group tickets, the Coliseum Theatre team can work with corporate bookers to organise pre-show, post-show and interval food and drinks. In addition, there are options to hire private spaces should this be a requirement.
