Light The Way Workshops

The workshops at Light The Way are designed to inspire, challenge and elevate dancers of all levels. Led by some of the Australia’s most respected choreographers and performers, these sessions give dancers the opportunity to learn directly from professionals working at the highest level of the performing arts.

Each workshop goes beyond simply learning choreography. Dancers develop performance quality, musicality, technique and artistry while gaining valuable insight into the realities of the professional dance industry. From high-energy commercial jazz and contemporary to musical theatre and hip hop classes, every session is designed to build confidence and push dancers to grow in an inspiring, non-competitive environment.

*** Please note that this year Spectator Passes for the younger age groups Teens, Juniors & Minis that aren’t taking place in the Theatre, viewing will only be allowed for the last 20 mins of each class once students have learnt the choreography and are performing it in groups. This is to ensure there are no distractions throughout the classes and to give the dancers more room to move. We will have some fantastic talks & activations for all parents, siblings & carers in our LTW Marketplace at these times.***
