They are the most recognised dance crews in street dance and this is your chance to experience them LIVE!
The Palace Dance Studio (TPDS) is New Zealand’s premier Hip Hop dance institution, welcoming dancers of all ages and levels to learn, create, and grow. The studio is known for its supportive, smoke-free, alcohol-free, and family-friendly environment, and is home to world-class crews including ReQuest, Sorority, Bubblegum, and The Royal Family.
The Royal Family Dance Crew, a Mega-Crew founded in 2011 by Parris Goebel, includes Junior, Varsity, and Adult divisions, and compete at the highest level. They made history by winning the Mega-Crew division at the World Hip Hop Dance Championships three consecutive times (2011–2013), establishing themselves as one of the most dominant and influential crews in Hip Hop dance.
At the heart of The Palace is its founder, Parris Renee Goebel MNZM—an internationally acclaimed dancer, choreographer, director, and creative visionary. Parris has worked with global superstars including Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga, Normani, and Justin Bieber, choreographing some of the most iconic music videos of the past decade. Her work on Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty shows earned multiple Primetime Emmy nominations, winning Outstanding Choreography for Vol. 3, and her direction of Bieber’s “Sorry” earned an MTV VMA nomination for Video of the Year.
